Cybersecurity and CIPA compliance are top considerations that Educators now juggle in all learning environments – both on campus and when students or staff are accessing learning materials at home. But when the weight of assuring cybersecurity conflicts with the litany of everyday issues that school districts are faced with, educators require advanced threat detection and protection tools that work hard in the background and inform active defense strategy to thwart potential threats.
The iboss Distributed Gateway Platform employs a litany of tools that exemplify a “defense-in-depth” approach to network security. The platform goes several steps beyond the standard content, malware and torrent filters used in most legacy security networks to thoroughly inspect potential threats – down to the data-packet level – in order to identify bad actors and monitor for potentially hazardous activity.
After this session, attendees will know how to target the most evasive threats hindering K-12 environments today, leveraging filtering tools that go above and beyond.
